Yes, let’s talk to him about it. With both of us trying to convince him, it will be easy. I know I can do, plus I’ve always wanted to sing it to a crowd so why not Nationals?

I’m glad you think so, Finn. I do think this song needs to be performed, plus I have a feeling I’ll kill it. I know you haven’t Finn, and I know you won’t. I’m sure if we convince him he’ll let me perform it. I believe it suits my vocal range quite well.

Jesse kissed her back, wrapping his arms around her waist.  This was something they didn’t do often.  Mostly because they were rarely seeing each other, with his busy rehearsal schedule, and her own life.  Jesse rarely saw the inside of his apartment these days.  Jesse pulled her closer, deepening the kiss a little, sighing softly against her lips.  

Rachel relaxed even more into his embrace when she felt his arms wrap around her waist. They hadn’t been like this in quite sometime, because of how busy Jesse was with Vocal Adrenaline and with school and whatnot for her. She had missed being close to Jesse in the first place, but she definitely missed being close to him in this way. She happily let Jesse pull her closer, which she was glad for. She locked her fingers together in place at the back of his neck since she had no motivation to let go of him just yet. Once he deepened the kiss, she sighed softly against his lips about the same time he did, which cause her to smile slightly.

Jesse wrapped his arms around her, smiling as her enthusiasm.  He had to force himself to keep from frowning when she pulled away.  ”I’m alright.  How are you?  You said you were doing better, right?” He kept his smile as he pulled her inside, shutting the door. 

Rachel relaxed significantly in his embrace, and she didn’t want to let go. She didn’t plan to let go. She nodded. “I am doing better, yes. Though I’m a lot better now that I’m here.” She smirked, as she went to kiss him again once they were inside. Her arms snaked their way to wrap around his neck, as she became lost in the moment of just being like this with Jesse. It had definitely been way too long for her liking.
